Union River Lobster Pot plans to add waterfront access

Lobster Pot WaterfrontDiners at the Union River Lobster Pot will likely have another way to access the waterfront restaurant by next summer.

Owners Brian and Jane Langley got a building permit from the city in September to install a 480-square-foot dock in front of the restaurant.

Brian Langley said in an email that the plan is to put in a dock “that will allow for smaller boats (kayaks, canoes and possibly inflatables) to land.”

He said that over the years many people “have expressed interest in landing at the restaurant to eat.”
